Where Rowe Granite started.
Rowe Granite is a family-run business in Hull that supplies, templates, cuts and fits granite, quartz and marble worktops, with a showroom in the city and installations across the UK. Every slab is hand-picked, and the team sell on honest advice rather than commission.
We met in the best possible way. Chris Rowe fitted the quartz worktops in our own kitchen during a home renovation, we got talking, and in 2020 Rowe Granite became a client. A worktop is a considered purchase, so the website had two jobs to do: show the stone well enough to be trusted, and turn up when someone starts looking.
The work.
We rebuilt the Rowe Granite website, and we've run their SEO and Google Ads ever since. A new, more modern design is now under way.
The rebuild put the stone front and centre, with pages for each material and colour range, a catalogue that's easy to browse on a phone and clear routes to a quote.
From there, SEO has done the heavy lifting. We built up the pages and content that match how people search for worktops, from 'granite kitchen worktops' to 'quartz worktops Hull', and worked on the Google Business Profile and the reviews that a purchase this size depends on. In early 2021 the site ranked for around ten search terms. It now ranks for more than a thousand.
Google Ads runs alongside, bringing in enquiries for the searches where an ad earns its place. Together they've steadily grown the number of quote requests coming through the site.
Six years on, the current site is due a refresh, and we're now designing a more modern website to replace it.
