Where Morton Magic started.
John Morton is an award-winning close-up magician, mind reader and hypnotist based in Lincolnshire, performing at weddings, private parties and corporate events across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. He holds the Inner Magic Circle's AIMC with Silver Star and, in 2021, fooled Penn and Teller on Fool Us.
During lockdown his hosting failed, the site went down, and a business that ran on being found for magician searches in Hull, Lincoln, Grimsby and beyond went from the top of the results to nowhere. The enquiries dried up with it. After the pandemic, Kazooieloki recommended us, and John got in touch.
The work.
We took on John's SEO and rebuilt his rankings across the towns he works in, until the first-page positions, and more importantly the bookings, came back.
The first job was working out what had been lost. We went through the technical health of the site so Google could crawl and index it properly again, then rebuilt the area and service pages that had ranked before, with refreshed content and steady work on the site's authority.
Positions came back town by town, and the enquiries came back with them. For a performer whose diary depends on being found, that's the result that matters.
